Ingredients:
* 2 cl of your favorite gin
* 2 cl freshly squeezed lemon juice
* 2 cl simple syrup (50/50 sugar and water)
* Champagne to top off with
Instructions:
1. Make the simple syrup by mixing water and sugar in a saucepan. Allow it to slowly come to a boil until the sugar crystals have dissolved. Let it cool.
2. Mix with lemon juice, gin, and shake with ice.
3. Pour into glasses and top off with champagne.
