Summer Sparkling Fruit Punch with Strawberries, Peach, and Orange Garnish
Ingredients (serves 6–8):
-
1 bottle (750 ml) dry sparkling wine or cava
-
50 ml elderflower cordial (concentrated)
-
200 ml orange juice (preferably fresh)
-
100 ml soda water or lemon soda
-
250 g fresh strawberries, halved
-
2 ripe peaches or nectarines, sliced
-
1 lime, sliced
-
1 orange, sliced into thin rounds (for garnish and flavor)
-
A handful of fresh mint
-
Ice cubes
Instructions:
-
Prepare the fruit: Rinse and slice all fruit, including the orange. Add the strawberries, peach, lime, and a few orange slices to a large jug or punch bowl. Add fresh mint.
-
Mix the base: Pour in the elderflower cordial and orange juice. Let the mixture chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to let the fruit infuse.
-
Just before serving: Add plenty of ice, pour in the sparkling wine, and top with soda water or lemon soda for a refreshing fizz.
-
Gently stir and serve in glasses. Add a slice of orange and a few mint leaves to each glass for garnish.
Tip:
For a non-alcoholic version, replace the sparkling wine with non-alcoholic bubbly or a mix of tonic and apple cider.
Mark the occasion with a Corkframe – save the cork from your bubbly and turn it into a lasting memory on your wall.
