When summer is at its most beautiful, we want to enjoy its very best flavors — something that feels both refreshing and festive. Blueberries are one of our most beloved berries, bursting with taste and color. Combined with prosecco, they transform into a delightful sorbet that is as beautiful as it is delicious. Perfect to serve after a garden dinner or as a surprise treat at your summer parties.

Recipe: Blueberry Sorbet with Prosecco

Ingredients (serves about 4):

  • 500 g blueberries (fresh or frozen)

  • 100 ml sugar (adjust depending on the sweetness of the berries)

  • 100 ml water

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 100 ml prosecco (plus extra for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Bring the water and sugar to a boil in a saucepan until the sugar has completely dissolved. Let the syrup cool.

  2. Blend the blueberries with the lemon juice into a smooth purée.

  3. Stir in the cooled syrup and prosecco into the blueberry purée.

  4. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn until the sorbet is creamy and firm.

    • No ice cream maker? Pour the mixture into a shallow container and freeze, stirring thoroughly every 30 minutes until it reaches a smooth and fluffy consistency (about 3–4 hours).

  5. Serve the sorbet in chilled glasses and top with a splash of prosecco just before serving.

Serving tip:
Garnish with fresh blueberries, mint leaves, or edible flowers for an extra elegant touch.

This blueberry sorbet with prosecco is a true celebration of summer — easy to make, yet something truly special. Serve it in beautiful glasses together with a chilled bottle of prosecco in a Corkframes wine cooler, and let the flavors transport you to a warm summer evening filled with bubbles and joy. Cheers to all the magical moments of summer!
