Emel calls Istanbul home—the city where she was born and where she pursued her passion for art. She finds endless inspiration in the places she visits and the people she meets during her travels.

Art gives her a sense of renewal and fulfillment, both creatively and personally. Emel primarily works digitally as a graphic designer, and often, she, her husband, and daughter enjoy spending entire days drawing together. Her home is truly a sanctuary for creativity. Lately, Emel has been drawn to creating abstract shapes on clean canvases, filling them with harmonious colors. Each piece tells a different story, depending on who sees it, even though the forms remain the same.
