Perfect Chili and Lime Seasoning for Popcorn

Creating your own chili and lime seasoning for popcorn is not only simple, but it's also a fun way to add a personal touch to your snacks.

I recently tried this combination of spicy chili and tangy lime, and it quickly climbed to the top of my list and became one of my favorites. You have to try this! 

Its a little bit hard to know exactly how much of everything i took, and i am a bit of a "salt guy", but here’s a recipe for you to try:

Ingredients:

• 1 Teaspoon Chili Powder
• 1/2 Teaspoon Paprika
• 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
• 1/4 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
• 1/4 Teaspoon Onion Powder
• Zest of one Lime
• 1/2 Teaspoon Dried Lime Zest (for extra lime flavor)

Instructions:

1. Mix the spices: In a small bowl, combine chili powder, paprika, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder. Ensure the spices are well blended.
   
   
2. Add lime zest: Grate the zest of one lime and mix it into the spice blend. If you have dried lime zest, add that too.
   
   
3. Store: Store your chili and lime seasoning in an airtight container if not using immediately.

Usage:

1. Pop popcorn: Pop your favorite popcorn on the stove, in a popcorn maker, or in the microwave.
   
   
2. Season popcorn: Once the popcorn is ready, sprinkle your homemade chili and lime seasoning over it. Mix well to ensure the seasoning is evenly distributed.
   
   
3. Add fat: For the best results, spray or drizzle a bit of melted butter or olive oil over the popcorn before adding the seasoning. This helps the seasoning stick better.
