What material is a Corkframe made of?
Answer: A Corkframe is handmade in Sweden, crafted from 5mm thick untreated Swedish steel and 4mm real glass. The untreated steel means that variations in color and texture may occur, making each Corkframe unique. Surface rust may appear on some frames. Some people like this look, others don't. If you prefer, you can use a scotch-brite sponge or a regular kitchen sponge with a green side to remove the surface rust. After cleaning, you can apply a thin layer of regular cooking oil to the frame to help protect it from future rust.
What is the delivery time?
Answer: If your chosen size is in stock, it will be shipped within 2–3 business days. If it’s not in stock, we’ll contact you after your order to let you know when you can expect your Corkframe to be delivered.
How do I hang my Corkframe on the wall?
Answer: Your Corkframe comes with screws, universal wall plugs, and an angled hook to make it easy to hang on the wall—regardless of the wall type in your home. If you’re unsure, check out our "Step-by-step" installation guide.
What is the included angled hook for?
Answer: On some wall types, the corks may become tightly packed, causing the bottom edge of the frame to tilt outward. That’s when you’ll need to use the angled hook. It’s easy to attach using our "Step-by-step" guide.

What tools do I need to install my Corkframe?
Answer: You’ll need a screwdriver or drill, a 5–5.5mm drill bit, a level, and a ruler or measuring tape. If your wall is made of concrete or stone, you’ll need a hammer drill.
Will the included screws and plugs really support the weight of a Corkframe?
Answer: The simple answer is YES—you don’t need to worry about it falling down.
How many corks does my Corkframe hold?
Answer: The number of corks it holds depends on the type of cork. With standard wine corks, our Corkframes hold approximately:
51×75 cm – about 500 corks
25×75 cm – about 250 corks
40×60 cm – about 300 corks
Round 65 cm – about 400 corks
Round 50 cm – about 300 corks
What if I want to order a Corkframe in a different size than those available in the store?
Answer: Send us a request with the dimensions and shape you’re looking for, and let us know if you want a specific color, type of steel, or other material. We custom-make Corkframes according to our customers’ wishes.
