Discover this weekend’s drink tip from Mixed by Bella: Cloudberry and Crabapple. A creative cocktail with calvados, crabapple, and cloudberry, topped with meringue and floral garnish.

Mixed by Bella (Bella Porcile) is known for her wild and creative cocktails where nature’s flavors take center stage. Her drinks combine Nordic ingredients with playful presentation – and this weekend’s tip is no exception.

The Drink: Cloudberry and Crabapple

A fresh and fruity cocktail where calvados meets Nordic berries. The balance of tart crabapple, sweet cloudberry, and airy meringue makes this a truly unique taste experience.

Ingredients:

  • 5 cl Pere Magloire calvados

  • 2.5 cl crabapple and cloudberry syrup

  • 3 cl malic acid

  • Crabapple and cloudberry meringue

  • Garnish: dried flowers and cloudberry candy

How to make it:
Shake calvados, malic acid, and syrup with ice. Strain into a glass. Pipe the meringue on top and finish with flowers and cloudberry candy.

Did you know …

  • Cloudberries are often called the gold of the forest. They grow wild in northern Europe, mainly in marshlands, and are rich in vitamin C. Considered a delicacy, they are highly prized in Nordic cuisine.

  • Crabapples are small ornamental apples with a refreshing tartness. They are often used for jam, jelly, and liqueurs – and now also in cocktails for a unique flavor profile.

A drink that captures the essence of Nordic landscapes, where tradition meets modern mixology. Perfect for impressing your guests this weekend.
